Wifi Mesh for HandHelds in Linux

摘要

This work shows how to use a Linux kernel for embedded system having arm processors. How to include in the kernel a specific aodv module to support WiFi connection it's showed. Various existing distributions for mobile phones as Qtopia, OpenMoko have been tested, even if for our purpose we aim to realize a personalized Linux graphic server. An handheld equipped in this way can contribuite as node to build up a wireless ad hoc network. The advantage of this manet is that we can costless transmitt text short messages, voice as in the voip scenario and data files over it.
