Fundamental study on relaxation processes of water tree in aged power cables aimed for diagnosis with spatial resolution

Although the pulse width was not short enough for locating degradation, it was remarkable that the trapped charges can be released in this short time. Thus, we expect that the proposed technique is quite feasible. We are planning to do the similar study using a pulse voltage with a shorter width.
