摘要

Electrostatically charged cellular electromechanical film has shown promising potential in sensor and actuator applications [1]. Many applications related to consumer products and automotive applications require at least 85°C, 110°C or even higher thermal durability, which has been a problem for the available polypropylene-based transducer material. New materials to match these requirements have already been reported [2]. Recently the thermal stability has been improved by compounding polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) nanochemical with selected polypropylene (PP), cyclo-olefin copolymer (COC) and polypropylene-cycloolefin copolymer blends [3].
