摘要

Microporous polyethylene (PE) membrane was prepared by melt extrusion and stretching process. Electrochemical performances of coin type cell were investigated, which was assembled with prepared separator, and compared with that of commercialized one. Also, safety performances were estimated in terms of shutdown function and meltdown temperature by overcharge, heating and external short test. Modified biaxial stretching process for dry process was developed and characterized to improve gas permeability and mechanical strength of separator.
