With the combination of boundary elements and finite elements, the stratum pressure distribution at the first stage of the roadway development can be directly predicted, with the finite element formulas obtained by including boundary elements. Innovative ideologically, the method can be regarded as a theoretic breakthrough with advanced calculations. In addition, the structure of the non-linear constitutive law is introduced in relation to faults. And in the process, such complicated factors as the digital simulated joint and crevasse of soft rocks are not neglected. Therefore, the method this paper presents is highly valuable in both theory and application.
