Sustainable Forestry Economy and Strategies on Ecological Construction——A Case Study of State Owned Farms in Heilongjiang Province

China is faced with arduous tasks in developing its forestry and improving the ecological environment. The state owned farms that located in Heilongjiang province are China’s modern agricultural demonstrations. The area of farmers is 5,430,000 ha,arable land is 2,670,000ha, and forestry land area is 870,000ha, and they have contributed to the country for the food safety as well as the economy development. In the thesis, the authors selected some indicators to describe sustainable forestry development levels in the state owned farms by utilizing SPSS, based on the data in 2005, analyzed nine farms in the region and comprehensively analyzed the sustainable forestry development trend and listed the rank based on the four principal components, they are forestry factors, forestry development trend factors, forestry structure factors and forestry capacity factors. The authors put forward some strategies on ecological construction in the state owned farm region in Heilongjiang province so as to realize the sustainable development at local levels.
