摘要

Displacement-based seismic design method is an important way to fulfill the performance-based seismic design theory, which is comprised with three methods: ductility coefficient method, capacity spectrum method, direct displacement-based seismic design method. Based on a great deal of literatures, firstly this paper presents the state-of-the-art displacement-based seismic design methods, then the applied range and problems that need to be resolved are detailed, at last, the research work of performance-based seismic design in the first phase is concluded.
