Advanced coherent 3D micro-imaging

An in-line holography setup with pinholes is discussed. A set of coherent light cones generated by a pinhole array illuminates the sample. Compared to a single pinhole the effective numerical aperture is increased. The axial resolution is determined by the effective aperture and is increased, too.
