In the proposed paper a sensorless control system of the induction motor with power measurement and nonlinear stator oriented control is introduced. The state variables are computed in a simple way using power measurement. The idea is applied in a nonlinear stator oriented control system using nonlinear feedback. The proposed control system requires no transformation from one coordinate system to other. This makes the whole system simple for practical realization and fast in execution. Simulations and experimental results are presented in the paper.
