A Versatile Low-Cost Integrated Circuit Transducer for Isolated Current Measurements

摘要

This paper presents developments in a new Integrated Circuit technology for isolated current measurement. The technology will be described in relation to existing isolated current transducers. An example of a design using the technology will be given. The parameters that affect the use of the design in a real application will be explained and it will be shown how understanding of them, together with the versatility inherent in the IC design, allows use of the new technology in many different types of transducer.
