インフレータブル構造への伸縮性膜面の適用について

摘要

Inflatable structures are useful for light weight basic structures of the large-sized space systems. But draping technique isnecessary for making wrinkle-free curved surface using non-stretchable thin membrane including aluminum laminatingmembrane and silver evaporation polyimide. And it is difficult to estimate the behavior of such membrane structures.Then, introduction of stretchable membrane to inflatable structure systems is proposed. In this paper, we discuss theapplication of stretchable membrane to future space inflatable structure systems.
