The RD of Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System for Driving Safety Supporting in China

摘要

Intelligent Highway System (HIS) is the important part of ITS in China. It is a new ITS solution from the road infrastructure standpoint with vehicle-infrastructure cooperation as its key technology. The related R&D has been undertaking by the National Center of ITS Engineering & Technology (ITSC) since 2000. In this paper, the cooperative vehicle infrastructure system was introduced firstly, and then its application in driving safety supporting system in China was presented in detailed.
