This paper makes use of mechanical system dynamic simulation software--ADAMS(Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System) to establish virtual prototype of the Special Swashplate Engine(SSE). When the virtual prototype of SSE is established, the contact constraint is defined between the groove of cylinder and taper trolley, the swashplate and the connecting rod. The outside dynamic link library is founded according to the mathematic model of the gas pressure in the cylinder of the engine, and the position control strategy is adopted to build gas force, thus the dynamics model of the engine is much more similar and reasonable with physics model. The simulation and analysis of the dynamic characteristic of SSE and load status of the key parts declares that the dynamic characteristic of SSE is high-blooded.
