Solar photovoltaic (PV) power system applications are increasing due to both technology and economic factors. For each specific atmospheric condition there is a specific voltage value in which maximum power is supplied. Hence the Maximum Power Point tracking and control system is indispensable. The Power Converter Design, as is described in this paper, can successfully adjust the equivalent input resistance and the working point to the value which is equal to the solar cell’s optimum ones. The new design not only uses the “closed-loop control-system” creatively, and brings in various methods as well, such as "disturbance observation" -adjusting the Voltage to gain the maximum power. The power converter design also further develops the algorithm to some extent. We can also use the working voltage as the effective feedback to help us stable the cell's operating point effectively.
