To delete the ghost tracks produced by multipath data association in OTHR, a method named Multipath Interacting Probabilistic Data Association (MIPDA) based on IMMPDA is presented. In MIPDA, the state information from multi propagation modes is contained in each track, which is the condition of confirming and deleting tracks. Simulation results show that the tracking accuracy of MIPDA is similar with that of MPDA, but MIPDA can efficiently delete the multipath ghost tracks. At the same time, the number of initial and confirmed tracks of MIPDA is less than that of MPDA, which makes the trajectory management of MIPDA more effective. Further more, when the virtual ionospheric height is uncertain,MIPDA still have good performance on tracking accuracy and trajectory management.
