摘要

Arc-ultrasonic technology was successfully introduced in the process of resurface welding and thermal spraying. The contrasting experiments of conventional welding, thermal spraying and arc-ultrasonic process were carried out. The results showed that arc-ultrasonic technology could refine the grain in fusion zones, and reduce its brittleness and hardness. At the same time, the effects of ultrasonic such as cavitations effects, mechanical effect, improved atornization effects during spraying processes, and effectively reducing the granularity of melting droplets and improved uniformity, increased the bond strength and heat shock performance of the coating.
