Generation IV Reactor Integrated Materials Program

An integrated R&D program is beingconducted to study, quantify, and in somecases, develop materials with requiredproperties for the reactor systems beingdeveloped as part DOE’s Gen IV Program.The goal of the National MaterialsTechnology Program is to ensure that thematerials research and development neededto support Generation IV applications willcomprise a comprehensive and integratedeffort to identify and provide the materialsdata and its interpretation needed for thedesign and construction of the selectedadvanced reactor concepts.
