Best Practices for Visual Color

Visual assessments of color and color difference are affected by many factors outside of the color of the specimens. These other factors include the color of the surround (both immediate and mid-surround), construction of the fabric or product, lighting environment, visual system of the observer, and many other factors. This presentation will include a brief outline of Best Practices for obtaining reproducibility in visual assessments of color and color difference.
