《Impulsar》 - New Approach for Satellites Launching by Laser

摘要

The objective of the project is to accomplish a circle of experimental, engineering and technological works on creation of a high efficiency laser rocket engine. According to estimations done by specialists, the capabilities of the commercial launch market in 2007 will rise 40% compared to 2004. Taking this into account, developed countries are conducting investigations on the feasibility of rocket engine alternatives to the existing ones, which operate on chemical fuel.
