Indonesia's Natural Gas Industry

The enactment of the New Oil and Gas Law No.22/2001 followed by the constant International price hike of Crude Oil has forced the Government to respond and issue Policies and Decrees with respect to Energy Sector such as the issuance of Blue Print on National Energy Policy by the First Quarter of 2005 followed by Government's Decree to gradually remove the subsidy of liquid fuel with the objective to ease the State Revenue and Balance of Payment. This Policies has then effected the Domestic Gas Industry entering into a new era of business environment. The demand for domestic natural gas consumption has for the last 5 (five) Quarters of the years has dramatically increased substantially.
