Four specimens were tested for the shear behavior and capacity of low rise reinforced concrete buildings in Korea. Based on the results of these tests, the following conclusions can be drawn:1) The shear cepacity and the energy dissipation cepacity of the DF-4.2 specimen and IF-4.2-DR specimen are the most excellent.2) The shear cepacity of the DF-4.2 specimen, IF-4.2-DR specimen, and IF-4.2 specimen are 2.9,2.8, and 2.4 times as high as that of the BF-4.2 specimen, respectively.3) The average shear strength of the brick infill wall is figured to be at 4.0kgf/cm~2.
