In the Research Reactor IAN-R1, a mixed core withTRIGA-LEU and MTR-HEU fuels can get criticality withadequate margins of reactivity. The reactivity decreaseswhen the number of MTR-HEU elements are increased inthe core with TRIGA-LEU elements.
