Basing on the review of the investigations of fouling in shell-and-tube heat exchanger and plate heat exchanger, this paper introduces the experimental investigation of fouling prevention in corrugated tubes and the fouling models. Experimental investigation shows that the heat resistance of fouling in corrugated tube is 0.52 ~ 0.88 times that of smooth tube. The Nusellt number is 1.8 times that of smooth tube. The heat resistance of fouling in corrugated tube is majorant of fluid velocity. When other parameter values are same, the fluid velocity increases from 0.25 m/s to 0.75 m/s, the heat resistance of fouling will reduce to 66.7%.
