摘要

The extension of the method of auxiliary sources (MAS) into timedomain is presented. The MAS has been extensively applied to the wideclass of steady electromagnetic processes problems as one of theefficient tools. It provides the faster algorithm for simulation andvisualization of electromagnetic periodical and transient processes inreal scale of time. Particular efficiency occurs for closed scatterers.With the help of MAS in the time domain it is easy to follow theformation of eigenfields of various structures. The transient scatteringon a cylinder with a longitudinal slot is considered as an example
