BAM2: a vehicle network for economy-model automobiles

摘要

This paper describes a vehicle network addressed to economy-modelautomobiles produced by the automotive industry of South America. Thestrategic approach adopted to achieve the low-cost feature is based onthe use of a logical addressing technique that allows the use ofphysically identical units to control the nodes of the network. Theresulting units do not require any sort of individual permanent settingand are based on a single custom chip
