摘要

Lightning damage of household equipment is increasing along with the advancement of highly sophisticated information society. Therefore it is necessary to understand lightning aspect and propagation in the household equipment and wiring. In the present study, experiments are performed on equipment, antenna components and wiring to simulate damaged equipment and indoor wiring. Magnitude of lightning surge and the course of invasion are investigated. The simulation model can be extended to understand effective lightning protection method for household equipment.
