RELATIONSHIP OF SEISMIC RESPONSES AND STRENGTH INDEXES OF GROUND MOTIONS FOR A LARGE-SCALE RIGID STRUCTURE.

摘要

The relationship between seismic responses of a large-scale rigid structures and strength index of ground motions were investigated. We found that the regression lines, especially with PGA for upper floors and A_0 for lower floors, can be used for the easy assessment of seismic response and possible basic indexes for the prediction of damage level of large-scale rigid structures without complex calculations. In future we will consider dependency on frequency content of ground motions by using different building parameters to draw more general pictures.
