RESEARCH ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CUT OFF WALL IN THE FOUNDATION OF PUBUGOU DAM

摘要

The two concrete cut off walls of the dam base in Pubugou power station are 1.2m wide and with depth over 80m. The construction of impervious wall is difficult to construct because of the geology and the construction period, the construction progress and quality are key to determine whether the station can generate electricity on time and whether the reservoir can operate safely. Taken the construction of impervious wall in several like projects in home for examples, through comparing and analyzing, the construction method and suggestion are put forward in this article.
