Coherence maintenance in human-machine dialogue: indirectantecedents and ellipses

The paper discusses the use of dictionaries for resolvingreferential ambiguity in dialogue. We present a heuristic algorithm fordetection of the indirect antecedents for dialogue phrases based on theuse of a dictionary of prototypic scenarios associated w
