The objective of this contribution to the conference is to present a process, which has been developed for accurate sizing of components in PV hybrid power systems. Accurate sizing is an important part of the design of PV hybrid systems. Over-sizing the makes the system more expensive, while under-sizing makes the system unreliable. Therefore, to ensure that PV electricity as well as money are not wasted, the accurate sizing is important. A further objective of this contribution is to show the results of this sizing method for a system which supplies electricity for a remote facility located at the latitude of 37°-32' South and longitude 143 °- 49' East. And finally this paper will be presenting the performance prediction of the PV hybrid system.
