摘要

In this paper, we used a new kind of screwy platen superheater to reduce the velocity deviation of tangentially fired boiler horizontal gas pass. The screwy platen superheater was twisted a angle about 45°. Through an experiment, the velocity deviation of tangentially fired boiler horizontal gas pass was reduced about 65% using the screwy platen superheater in a model boiler. Meanwhile it had been detected that by using the screwy SH panels the velocity distribution in front of each heat exchanger in horizontal gas pass was more homogeneous than that of a common straight platen superheater . Test expressed that the screwy platen superheater is very useful to reduce the velocity deviation of tangentially fired boiler horizontal gas pass and this way is first to be used.
