Environmental Protection in China's Petrochemical Enterprises - a Case Study of Tianjin Petrochemical Company

摘要

Environmental protection in China's petrochemical enterprises is studied here with case study method. The international and domestic background for environmental protection in petrochemical industry and the present situation of environmental protection in Tianjin Petrochemical Company are discussed. Our argument is that when environmental protection of petrochemical enterprises is studied, future government policy changes, international market competition, long-term and short-term benefit to the enterprise should all be considered. The government should provide some support for the environment related technology innovations of firms as the "grasp the large and enliven the small" reform policy.
