Radiation-curing technology is widely used in the field of protective coatings, electronics, adhesives and inks. It combines several advantages such high cure speed, low energy consumption and is environmental friendly because radiation-curing formulation do not contain solvents. A radiation-curable coating composition for an optical fiber coating comprised a reactive functionality-terminated contain halogen-free flame retardant moieties urethane oligomer, wherein said oligomer comprises reaction product of semi-crystalline phosphate ester polyol and diisocyanate at least about 1:2 and an end capping compound capable of supplying the functionality terminus.
