NON-DATA-AIDED CARRIER SYNCHRONIZATION IN BURST MODE QPSK TRANSMISSION

In this paper, we address the problem of carrier frequency offset estimation with QPSK modulation. In particular, the method proposed here is an open-loop scheme for Non-Data-Aided (NDA) but Clock-Aided carrier recovery. Simulation results show that our method exhibits a mean-squared-error closer to the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) than other techniques proposed in the literature.
