摘要

The result of the presented study shows clearly that changes of topography in the case of identical surface state is not dominating the bonding properties, using epoxy adhesives on steel and aluminum substrates. In contrast to, the surface state i.e. the chemical composition of the substrate surface influences the polymer network near the substrate surface and therefore the mechanical properties of the whole epoxy bond.
