BARRIER FILMS: MACHINERY ISSUES AND PROCESSING

This paper will review the process and machinery requirements for the production of high barrier films. It willprovide an historical account of our research and development efforts with high barrier polymers. The emphasis willbe on processing issues related to different machinery applications and compare high barrier polymers such as PA,EVOH and PVdC.
