Scandium(III) extraction from sulfate solutions by methyltrialkylammonium sulfate and methylcyclohexyldioctylammonium sulfate in toluene was investigated, using the methods of distribution, slope analyses and mathematical modeling of extraction isotherms. The formation of complexes, which partially dissociate in organic phase, (R_4N)_3[Sc(SO_4)_3] with methyltrialkylammonium sulfate and (R_4N)_2SO_4Sc_2(SO_4)_3 with methylcyclohexyldioctyl-ammonium sulfate, was established. The thermodynamic constants of extraction equilibrium were calculated.
