摘要

The pre-oxidized fibre mixed with green petroleum coke powders in-situ carbonizationwithout any binder to prepare C/C composites is an effective method to manufacture advancedC/C composites with shorter period and lower cost . But just like other C/C composites , theoxidation resistance of the material produced by this kind of technological method is not verysatisfied , and the crack problem will occur if the oxidation resistance coating is adopted becauseof the different thermal expansion coefficients between the coating and the matrix . This problemcan well be solved by adding BB4C SiC , and Si powders which can restrain oxidation of the C/Ccomposites . The results show that the increase of oxidation resistance is remarkable when thecontents of BB4C SiC and Si powders are 10 wt℅. 10wt℅ and 5 wt℅, respectively. Theregularities and mechanism of the effects of the additives on the oxidation resistance of thecomposites were discussed.
