摘要

A flat design 24-fiber ribbon cable provides an efficient high density solution for high data rate applications. The 24-fiber stacked ribbon design is uniquely designed to maximize use of the 24-fiber MTP connector design and effectively doubles the fiber density on the connector faceplate. The 24-fiber flat ribbon design provides an increased fiber density and smaller bend radius when compared to round cable designs. In addition, the 24-fiber flat ribbon design does not require special furcation or ribbonizing techniques for connectorization and also meet the recommended granularity needed for parallel optical applications. The 24-fiber flat ribbon cable also meets standard industry tests for environmental and temperature cycling.
