THE PENETRATION ENHANCEMENT OF β_2-SELECTIVE AGONIST, TULOBUTEROL, ACROSS THE HAIRLESS MOUSE SKIN

The effects of various vehicles and pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) on the percutaneous absorption of tulobuterol across hairless mouse skin were evaluated. The permeation rate of tulobuterol from polymer grafted acrylic adhesive matrix was higher than that from other PSA matrices. When effects of various enhancers in polymer grafted acrylic adhesive matrix on the percutaneous absorption of tulobuterol were evaluated, Plurol oleique~(~R) showed a higher flux than other vehicles tested.
