Impacts of influx of computer science graduates from developing countries to Europe and North America

This paper addresses the history of the computer, from it inception as mechanical machine followed by progress due to transistors, integrated circuits, VLSI, various stages of microprocessor development, use of low level instruction set and high level languages, connectivity using various communication media, access to information on the World Wide Web and the concepts and implementation of e-technology. It draws a parallel between the industrial revolution and the IT revolution and then focuses on the influx of computer science graduates from developing countries to Europe and North America. The paper analyses the need and supply chain between the two points and identifies the pro and cons of the education imparted to these graduates. It concludes with recommendations to pacify the impact that both the donor and receiving countries share.
