SUCCESS OF VAI'S VAINOX~(~R) TECHNOLOGY IN LATEST STAINLESS STEEL PROJECTS

Many projects in the stainless steel industry, including large-scale integrated plants, expansion projects and mini mill solutions, have been successfully completed by VAI over the past few years. More than one third of the worldwide additional installed stainless steel production capacity is produced with VAI installed equipment. VAI has introduced VAINOX~(~R) as a brand name for its totaj process competence in stainless steel technology, engineering and automation, as well as for research and development. Further, large investment decisions were made in stainless steel production capacities in the year 2000. Based on its reputation and utilizing the VAINOX~(~R) technology package VAI managed to become the successful vendor for the major stainless steel projects that were awarded in that year, thus enabling VAI to sustain their leading position in the field of stainless steel equipment and technology solutions.
