Standardisation of a field trial site under sub-surface trickle irrigation

A SUBSURFACE trickle irrigation large plot field trial site was constructed at Fairymead, Bundaberg in 1997. Data from plant and first ratoon crop harvests showed high coefficient of variation making detection of significant treatment effects difficult.
