Exact Corner Detection using Generalized Symmetry Transform and Parametric Corner Equation

摘要

This paper proposed a new corner detection method, in which the generalized symmetry transform (GST) is combined with the proposed parametric corner equation in order to correctly detect corners and improve their localization. Experimental results show that the proposed corner detection algorithm is efficient and very robust to noise when tested on artificial and real images and compared to the other detectors.
