In this paper we present a biologically-motivated approach to motion processing. This approach is expressed in terms of a neural network. Two key features of the underlying neuron model that we present are direction sensitivity and velocity tuning. Neurons based on this model are sensitive to motion in a specific direction and within a specific velocity range.
