Research shows that speech is by far the most effective and most convenient way for humans to communicate. Information is received twice as fast then seeing, or reading. It has also been concluded that most of the information received by humans are face to face conversations. This makes communicating audibly very important. Nothing is perfect, or at least not speech recognition. Some applications using the speech recognition technology have been proven worthy of something. Yet they are not perfect. They do in fact misinterpret words that sound alike. In this research paper you will learn the many aspects of humans communicating with computers audibly. They will be: speech synthesis, speech recognition, and Voice-printing identification.
