The DUROS~direct R Implant is an osmotic delivery system that delivers proteins and peptides for 1 to 12 months. The implant is approximately 4 mm in diameter by 45 mm in length and contains approximately 150 mul of formulation. Larger implant designs can hold approximately 500 mul of formulation and are only a few millimeters wider in diameter.
