Impact assessment for the introduction of new dmu technologies in preliminary design phase. a case study in automotive field

摘要

The willing by companies to reduce time to market maintaining high quality standards, led to identification and implementation of new paradigms, like as concurrent engineering, and to the introduction of new Digital Mock Up oriented technologies to support business processes. In order to obtain further reduction of time and costs, it's now necessary to implement the above paradigm and technologies even in the processes involved in the earliest phase of the product development process.
