Life Cycle assessment (LCA) has been found to be a powerful tool to estimate the environmental impacts (eco-oad) through the entire lifecycle of any industrial activity like co-generation systems. Enviornmental impacts result from different kinds of causes such as global scale of resources' depletions (fossil fuels and natural resources), global warming, oxone layer depletion, water and air pollution, etc. However, there seems to be no objectively convincing scheme yet to numerically count the respective factors' and total lifecycle impacts on a common standard and to concretely analyze ecological improvements at successive stages over the lifecycle. At the last IJPGC, therefore, we have newly proposed a numerically standardized LCA scheme in which various kinds of environmental impacts can be commonly evalauted in a newly standardized unit of NETS (Numerical Eco-load Total Standard).
