Numerical calculation of fluid-forces in different types of stirring-apparatus with CFD

In the present work three different stirrer-types are modeled and simulated with a commercial CFD-code to determine their three-dimensional flow fields. Through variation an optimal setting of numerical parameters like grid-resolution, discretization scheme or number of iterations per time step found.
